About the event
Intuitive textile painting is a class to develop intuition and recharge your imagination and go wild! This class can be a follow up to the Peaceful Stitching class. No painting experience necessary. Anyone that would like to learn this technique is welcome. No previous class required.
In understanding the difference between intuition and imagination we learn which sides of the brain are in use.
Imagination is often associated with creativity. Intuition, on the other hand, is often associated with feelings.
Imagination can be used in order to envision a particular projects outcome. Intuition helps a person to make a decision on a particular scenario based on their gut feeling. Both help us to make decisions.
In this class we will discuss how intuition and imagination can be applied by creating your own personal custom designed fabric, stitching in your own personality and feelings. Painting on cloth can have healing benefits and a profound calming affect. Join us to let loose and allow your intuition and imagination to help you create your one of a kind fabric to be enjoyed in your Peaceful Stitching practice or to create a small sewing project.
All materials needed will be supplied.
Pre registration is required. Class is limited to 15 participants.
Class fee: $45 with a $15 deposit to hold your spot, $30 balance at door. Please email me directly to arrange deposit payment and date you'd like your spot reserved.
